Inntopia Launches Version 7 of its Internet Booking Engine (IBE)

Stowe, VT. June 3, 2008 - Inntopia announced the launch Version 7 of its already industry leading booking engine. Inntopia users who have moved to the new IBE are realizing dramatic improvements.

As a group Inntopia’s partners already experienced a significantly higher percentage of online reservations than the industry average. The average destination central reservations center sees about 25% of their reservations confirmed online. Inntopia users have averaged 40% over the past two years. With the launch of the new version some users, such as Big Bear Lake Resort Association, are realizing an even greater share of online reservations -- up to 68% since they switched. This represents a 90% increase in online confirmed reservations.

One of Inntopia’s newest clients, Black Hills Central Reservations in South Dakota, the premier reservation service in the State, realized a 300% increase in their online volume when they switched from a competitor's system. "We did an extensive search of Internet Booking Engine and Central Reservation systems," states Susan Johnson, CEO of Black Hills Central Reservations, "and even we are amazed at the increases that we are experiencing."

These increases are the result of a careful process at Inntopia that analyzed the booking path and made a number of improvements which reduce the number of clicks needed to complete a reservation. This was coupled with an increase in functionality that allows Inntopia’s clients to customize their display options.

Some of these functionality enhancements include a shopping cart style experience enabling more visibility for packages and additional itinerary components. This process continuously displays the options that are available to the consumer, such as; air, car, activities, and events. The check out process has also been simplified to capture the consumer once the decision has been made.

Another improvement was a direct interface into analytics programs that track the consumer from an online ad, email or keyword, directly through to reservations. These interfaces include Google Analytics, Omniture and ClickTracks. They effectively enable our partners to ascertain the true ROI from their marketing campaigns. In addition the information that is provided back to Inntopia will allow the reservation process to be refined even further.

Inntopia is an innovative travel technology company that provides its partners with fully integrated reservation solutions including a robust and flexible CRS, a dynamic packaging and pricing booking engine and a powerful supplier extranet.
