North Lake Tahoe Resort Association Implements Inntopia Solution for Internet Booking and Central Reservations Call Center Integration
Synched reservations and regional Internet distribution a win-win for NLTRA lodging properties.

Stowe, VT - November 10, 2003 - Sterling Valley Systems, Inc. today announced the successful implementation of the Inntopia Reseller Booking Engine on Mytahoevacation.com, as well as the execution of Inntopia Innterface, enabling automated rate and availability updates from North Lake Tahoe Resort Association's (NLTRA) Central Reservation System (CRS) to the web.

The implementation of both solutions means streamlined reservation systems for NLTRA and enhanced booking opportunities for its lodging members. Now lodging properties can offer availability throughout the Inntopia distribution network, which includes high-traffic regional web sites such as TahoeReservations.com, VirtualTahoe.com, TahoesBest.com, Tahoe.com and TahoeGuide.com. Lodging suppliers will also be able to utilize InntopiaPlus to connect to GDS/IDS systems.

"Inntopia's established presence in the Tahoe region, combined with their ability to integrate with our existing Central Reservation System, made this an easy choice," said Steve Teshara, executive director of North Lake Tahoe Resort Association. "It's a good business decision from an administrative standpoint as well as a member standpoint."

The execution of the call center integration and Internet reservations through Mytahoevacation.com is only the first part of a multi-phase, multi-party contract. The agreement also calls for additional integration between the CRS and the web, and the implementation of a basin-wide integrated phone/web system to include other VCB organizations in the Tahoe area. Implementation of added functionality for the booking of online packaging is also in the works.

"We are very pleased to be working with the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association," says Trevor Crist, president of Sterling Valley Systems. "They have long been recognized as an innovative, forward thinking organization in the Tahoe region and beyond. Adding their suppliers to our system and their site to our distribution network just strengthens our position as the leading provider of electronic reservation processing in the Lake Tahoe Basin. And, by delivering the technology on time and on budget, we have demonstrated once again why we are the choice of leading travel providers worldwide."
